Se acerca el FESTIVAL ARTEVIVA 2007!.
Puerto Viejo de Limón se vestirá de arte y
hará que todos los asistentes la vivan desde cualquier
puto del pue
blo donde se paren:
talleres gratuitos de artesanías, pintura, arte en
vidrio; comidas típicas de la zona, circo, pasacalles,
música, imágenes, proyecciones, conciertos...
TODO un pueblo organizado en una de las festividades artísticas
más grandes del Caribe de Costa Rica.
La Escuela de Artes del Caribe Sur, EDACS, es el ente organizativo
del evento. Su misión es la de promover y difundir
la cultura artística en la comunidad local, con el
fin de incrementar las posibilidades de desarrollo de las
aspiraciones individuales de los jóvenes de la zona,
favoreciendo el intercambio de experiencias con artistas
nacionales y extranjeros, promoviendo exposiciones y conciertos
de estudiantes y artistas y así promover un proceso
gradual de embellecimiento del Caribe Sur.
No dejen pasar esta oportunidad de visitar el Caribe en
uno de los meses con más sol en la zona. Arte, cultura,
calor, entretenimiento y buena vibra en Puerto Viejo. Nos
vemos allá!
Puerto Viejo in Limon will be dressed
from head to toe in art and is inviting everyone from every
town to join in: free crafts, painting and art in glass
workshops; typical foods of the area, circus, puppet parade,
music, visual projections and concerts... ALL of the town
organized in one of the largest artistic festivities of
the Caribbean coast in Costa Rica.
The School of Arts of the South Caribbean, EDACS, is organizing
the event. In order to increase the possibilities of development
of individual aspirations of youths of the zone, the EDACS
has made it their mission to promote and broaden art and
culture in the local community. They encourage exchanges
of experiences with foreign and national artists, promoting
expositions and concerts of students and artists and promote
a gradual process of
beautification of the South Caribbean.
Do not let this opportunity to pass you by….. visit
the Caribbean in one of the months with more sun in the
year: art, culture, sun and good vibrates in Puerto Viejo.

SCHEDULE
Viernes 28 de septiembre:
8pm: Inauguración del Festival, Música y gastronomía
en la Casa de la Cultura, Desfile en la calle.
TARIMA PRINCIPAL: a las 9pm Música en vivo con Manuel
Obregón presentando SIMBIOSIS y luego las mejores
bandas de la zona (Costa Caribe, Plan B y Open Jam Band)
Sábado 29 de septiembre:
Desde el mediodía hasta la madrugada: espectáculos
de teatro, Circo, exhibiciones deportivas, escolares, exposiciones,
talleres, gastronomía, música en vivo con
Manuel Obregón, Manuel Monestel y Los Calypsonians
y luego las mejores bandas de Limón.
Domingo 30 de septiembre:
Desde el mediodía hasta la madrugada: espectáculos
de teatro, exhibiciones deportivas, escolares, exposiciones,
talleres, gastronomía, música en vivo.
Gran Final con una gran sorpresa!!!

Friday sept 28th:
8pm: Festival Inauguration in Casa de la Cultura, Puerto
Viejo de Limón.
Main Floor 9pm: street festival and live music with Manuel
Obregón presenting SIMBIOSIS followed by the best
bands of the area (Costa Caribe, Plan B y Open Jam Band)
Saturday sept. 29th:
Starting at noon untill late night: theatre, circus, sports,
schools, artistic exhibitions, gastronomy, art free whorkshops
fos the public, live music starting at 9pm with Manuel Obregón
and Manuel Monestel and The Calypsonians followed by some
of the best bands of the Caribean.
Sunday sept. 30th:
Starting at noon untill late night: Starting at noon untill
late night: theatre, circus, sports, schools, artistic exhibitions,
gastronomy, art free whorkshops fos the public, live music
and a great ending with a great sorprise!!!
